Arshad Warsi And Akshay Kumar Coming Together For Bachchan Pandey

The maker of Bachchan Pandey unveils the entire ensemble of multi-starrer action drama along with shoot details. The film brings Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi on silver-screen for the first time, along with Kriti Sanon as leading lady.

The action drama helmed by Farhad Samji, written by Nischay Kuttanda and Samji, is bankrolled by Sajid Nadiadwala. Initially planned as a remake of Veeram (2014), the film follows an original script by Kuttanda and Samji.

Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh dropped the deeds on the project. The makers of ‘Bachchan Pandey’ wanted someone who could match Akshay’s comic timing and they found him in none other than Arshad Warsi. Arshad will be seen playing Akshay’s friend in the movie. His character will have multiple shades with a special look.

The film will go on floors in January 2021 with Akshay Kumar, Arshad Warsi and Kriti Sanon and one more actress, who will be signed soon. On the work front, Akshay also has films like ‘Bell Bottom’ in his kitty which also stars Vaani Kapoor, Huma Qureshi, and Lara Dutta in key roles.
