Bajaj Auto posts 9 per cent fall in total sales in August

Two-wheeler and commercial vehicle maker Bajaj Auto reported a nine percent decline in total sales in August on a year-on-year basis. According to the company, the total sales during the month under review are 356,199 units out of 390,026 units sold during the same month of 2019.
Similarly, Bajaj Auto’s total domestic sales stood at 185,879 units, 11 percent lower than the 208,109 units sold in August last year. The company’s total exports saw a decrease of six percent. While the company had sold 181,917 units in the reporting period last year, this time the sales have come down to 170,320 units.
