Australia’s T20 League Big Bash has made several changes to the rules for the new season. The 10th season of Big Bash is starting on December 10. This time three new rules named Power Surge, X-Factor Player and Bash Boost have been added to the tournament. Cricket Australia hopes that this will make the tournament more exciting. The powerplay has been divided into two parts in Power Surge. At the same time, in Bash Boost, a team can score at least three points apart from four points in a match.

Power Surge: Power play is divided into two parts under this rule. At present T20 cricket consists of an initial 6 overs powerplay. This will not happen in the Big Bash. Now there will be an initial 4 over powerplay. The remaining two overs’ powerplay can then be used by the batting team at any time after the 10th over is over. This will mean that the team batting in addition to the last 4 death overs can use two extra overs to bat explosively.

X-Factor Player (X-Factor Player): Both teams prepare a list of 11–11 players before the match begins. Now he will have to prepare a list of 13 players. Apart from 11, two other players will be the 12th and 13th players. Team management can change players after 10 overs in the first innings of the match. The 12th or 13th player can get an entry in the match. Either of them will be able to join the same team. The captains have to keep in mind that the same player can not be out of the match and has not bowled more than once over.

Bash Boost (Bash Boost): This is basically a bonus point that can be added to the account of the team chasing the run in the second innings. For example – if a team had scored 70 runs for 1 wicket in 10 overs while batting first, then the team playing in the second innings would want to score more runs in 10 overs. Together, the wicket would like to lose more or less.

In order to take advantage of the Bash Boost rule, the previously batting team will want to add a point to their account by preventing the running team from doing so. Even after losing the match, he will definitely get a point. At the same time, the winning team will get at least 3 points, but if they score one point in 10 overs, then they will get a total of 4 points. The Big Bash started in 2011–12. So far 6 out of 8 teams have become champions. This time the tournament will be played from 10 December to 6 February.
