Chocolate cake or mug cakes are now go-to recipes during this lockdown because they are very easy to make and a very tasty dessert but instead of making the basic cakes you can prepare a cheesecake that too in a pressure cooker, so let’s know-how:

Ingredients you will need to make Cheesecake:

½ tablespoon melted butter

  • 3-4 cups biscuit crumbs
  • 5 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 ½ tablespoon all-purpose flour (maida)
  • 2 tablespoon cream
  • 1 cup cream cheese
  • 2 egg yolks
  • Fruits to garnish.

Begin by making the crust of the cake. Add biscuits in a blender or mixer and grind it until it becomes in a powder form.

Take a flat container and place parchment paper at the bottom.

Put the crumbs in a bowl, add butter until it becomes thick.

Gently press the mixture and freeze it for 10-15minutes, till then you can prepare the filling.

In another container add the sugar, flour, cream, and cream cheese, beat them well, using a whisker.

Then add egg yolks and keep mixing until the batter is smooth.

Pour the batter over the crust.

Then, add 2 cups of water in the pressure cooker and preheat it.

Place a steel rack at the bottom of the cooker and keep the container over it.

Close the lid and let it cook for 20 minutes.

Remove the cake from the pressure cooker and let cool for around 1 hour.

Cover and put it in the refrigerator for 4 hours or until completely chilled.

Pass a knife to check if it is cooked, or place in the refrigerator for another 30 minutes.

Serve it fruits or any flavored syrup
