Corona crisis before Ayodhya Ram temple’s Bhoomi Poojan program, patients doubled in 12 days

Less than a week has been left for the foundation stone program to be constructed for the grand temple of Lord Ram on August 5, but the danger of corona has increased before the Bhoomi Pujan. 14 policemen including Ramlala priest Mahant Pradeep Das have been found corona infected. Bhumi Pujan and foundation stone will be done on 5th of the day in the hands of PM Modi, but Corona has increased the concern of the administration. The temple trust has set a target to invite as many as 200 people to the ceremony and appealed to the devotees not to crowd there during the Bhoomi Pujan. Despite this, apprehension is being expressed that there may be an increased risk of infection due to crowd gathering at the function.

If we look at the cases of corona in Ayodhya, it is seen that the cases of corona in the district are increasing rapidly while the recovery rate is very low.
As of July 29, a total of 993 corona cases were registered in Ayodhya district, out of which 13 people have died and 605 patients have been cured. According to the administration, a week ago, there were 703 corona cases in Ayodhya, out of which 483 were cured. Within seven days, 290 cases were added to the district and 122 people were discharged during this period. In this way the number of active cases increased. Until last week, the recovery rate of Ayodhya was 73%, which has come down to 68% this week.

Looking at the figures of the last week, on an average, 21 new cases were being filed in Ayodhya every day, but during the last week, an average of 44 new cases were filed every day. Statistics also show that the corona cases are doubling every 12 days. At the national level in India, it is taking 20 days to double the cases, while in Uttar Pradesh, the cases are doubling in 15 days.
