Covid-19 Update: More than 3 lakh cases of coronavirus have been reported in India in the last 24 hours. The total number of positive cases has increased to 1,62,63,695 with 3,32,730 new cases of COVID-19 in India in the last 24 hours. The total number of deaths after 2,263 new deaths is 1,86,920. Now the total number of active cases in the country is 24,28,616 and the total number of discharged cases is 1,36,48,159. In the last 24 hours, 31,47,782 vaccines of Coronavirus have been planted in the country, after which the total vaccination figure has increased to 13,54,78,420.

According to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), a total of 27,44,45,653 sample tests for coronavirus have been done in India till yesterday, out of which 17,40,550 samples were tested yesterday. In Delhi, 26,169 new cases of COVID-19 have been reported in the last 24 hours. 306 people died and 19,609 people were discharged. In Punjab, 5,456 new cases of COVID19 have been reported in the last 24 hours. 3,657 people were discharged and 76 died.

In Mumbai, 7,410 new cases of COVID19 have been reported in the last 24 hours. 8,090 people were discharged and 75 died. 67,013 new cases of COVID19 have been reported in the last 24 hours across Maharashtra. 62,298 people were discharged and 568 people were reported dead. In Gujarat, 13,105 new cases of COVID19 have been reported in the last 24 hours. 5,010 people were discharged and 137 died.

13 patients died due to fire in Vijay Vallabh Kovid Hospital in Virar of Palghar district of Maharashtra. According to ANI, Vijay Vallabh Kovid Hospital Officer Dr. Dilip Shah said, “At 3 o’clock in the night, a sudden fire came down from the AC. 13 patients have died due to fire in ICU. Serious patients have been shifted to another hospital.
