Covid Vaccine: Amidst the complaints of lack of vaccine by Maharashtra, the Center has decided to send 17 lakh doses to the state instead of the promised 7.3 lakh doses. Earlier giving information, Maharashtra Health Minister Rajesh Tope had said that the state should get more vaccines as more than 40 lakhs have been given in Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh, 30 lakhs in Gujarat and 24 lakhs in Haryana.

He said, “I and Sharad Pawar have spoken to Dr. Harsh Vardhan on the issue of discrimination on the vaccine, we have the highest number of active patients, positive rates, so why are we given such a vaccine?” He assured me that it will improve soon.

Earlier NCP leader Sharad Pawar had said, “The Center is cooperating with the state government in this difficult time of Corona epidemic.” We all have to unite and fight this danger. Both the state and the Center have to come together and find a way to fight the epidemic. ”

On Wednesday, Mumbai Mayor Kishori Pednekar had said, “There is a shortage of covaxine and covishield. In 2-3 days it will be difficult to give to other dosages as well. Yesterday, there were 1.76 lakh doses, which may have been reduced now. The central government should focus more on Mumbai and Maharashtra ”. Pednekar said on Wednesday that the vaccine stock in the city is ending fast and there are hardly 1 lakh doses of convicted vaccine available in the city.

We have written a letter to the Center that we should send at least 2.5 million vaccine doses so that we can do the vaccination properly. If it does not come in two days, then we will have to stop vaccination. ”
