Cricket Australia writes open letter to BCCI: ‘We congratulate Team India for the resilience, courage, skill’

Cricket Australia (CA) chairman Earl Eddings and interim CEO Nick Hockley have written an open letter to their Indian counterpart -the BCCI- after the Indian and Australian teams completed a successful series amid difficult times due to the ongoing pandemic.

India’s tour of Australia has ended successfully. Team India ended the series with a 2–1 away series win. Cricket Australia has written an open letter to the BCCI after the successful series between India and Australia. Cricket Australia has praised the Indian team for the courage, perseverance and skill shown during the historic victory of the Indian team.

And also thanked the BCCI for ensuring the smooth running of this match. CA wrote in the letter, “From all sides in Cricket Australia, we congratulate the Indian team for the courage, perseverance and skill shown in this series to retain the Border-Gavaskar Trophy.” The letter said, Australian cricket will always be grateful to the BCCI for their friendship, trust and commitment, which helped millions of people in the world to celebrate the difficult times by helping to organize a series.
