With a net worth of more than $11Million, Deepika remains one of the highest paid and richest Indian actress. From her acting debut in 2006 and winning the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut in 2007 for Om Shanti Om, her journey remains inspiring and she has never looked back since then. Recently, in one of her interviews, the Chhapaak star involved in a conversation about her experience of working in the 2013 movie Cocktail that also starred Saif Ali Khan, Dimple Kapadia, Diana Penty, Randeep Hooda, and others in the lead roles.

Deepika mentioned how it was challenging for someone like her who is shy and allowing and freeing one in front of the camera was a task. Deepika states that Cocktail allowed her the experience for the very first time to be truly vulnerable in front of the camera and how it was once in a lifetime experience for her.

The chappak actress added that once she felt that joy of being vulnerable and allowing herself to express a side which is considered ‘weak’, there was no stopping for her after the same.

In the same interview, her husband, Ranveer mentions how Deepika Padukone was not aware of the emotional turmoil she was going through but that that helped evolve the performer in her. On the same topic Imtiaz Ali who has worked with her in some movies, shares that as the actress continues to get more confident, she is able to give her best in front of the camera which is rare to see in Bollywood. He further adds that he hasn’t seen anyone other than Deepika who has improved so much in positive context.

Speaking of other work projects, Deepika is currently gearing up for her movie ’83 that has been directed by Kabir Khan.
