Not only it helps in weight loss but has many health benefits. These seeds contains an essential oil called thymol which has antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties. They also provides relief from abdominal gas, flatulence, and speed up body metabolism. Also, works as a natural anti-oxidant that removes toxic buildups from the body which makes it easier to lose weight.

Boiled Ajwain Water- It is the healthiest and easiest drink to have for weight loss. First two teaspoons of fresh ajwain seeds in a pan and dry roast it on a low flame until you get the aroma of the spice. Next, boil 500ml of water in another pan and once the water is boiled, put the flame on medium, then add the roasted ajwain seeds in it and let it boil for some time. Strain this water and drink it the whole day.

Ajwain Powder- If you don’t have time to make ajwain water you can have its powder. Dry roast ajwain seeds, nigella seeds and fenugreek seeds in equal amounts and then grind all three of them together until it becomes fine like a powder. Store this mixture in an airtight container and have one teaspoon with warm water every day before sleeping at night.

Roasted Ajwain Seeds- Roast about 250gm of ajwain seeds and once it cools down store it in an airtight container and has a teaspoon of it half an hour before having breakfast. You can also have carom seeds but this too also before your meals.
