Good news has come out for Pakistan cricket after a long time. The England cricket team will visit Pakistan in 2021 after 16 years. The last time the English team went to Pakistan was in 2005 to play three Tests and five ODIs. The two teams will play two T20 matches in Karachi next year.

Good news has come out for Pakistan cricket after a long time. The England cricket team will visit Pakistan in 2021 after 16 years. The last time the English team went to Pakistan was in 2005 to play three Tests and five ODIs. The two teams will play two T20 matches in Karachi next year. The England and Wales Cricket Board made an official announcement about the tour on Wednesday (18 November).

The England and Wales Cricket Board said, “The England team will arrive in Pakistan’s southern port city of Karachi on October 12 next year. Two consecutive T20 matches will be played on October 14 and 15. The two teams will then fly to India from there on October 16. “The last time England team went to Pakistan was Michael Vaughan as captain. He did not play due to injury in the first Test played in Multan. The team was then led by Marcus Trescothick.

Pakistan won the first Test by 22 runs. Vaughan then returned in the second Test. Faisalabad was a test draw. Pakistan won the third Test in Lahore by an innings and 100 runs and won the series 2–0. Pakistan won 3–2 in the 5 ODI series. England won the first ODI by 22 runs in Lahore. After this, Pakistan won the second ODI by 7 wickets in Lahore itself. Pakistan had won by 165 runs on the third wicket in Karachi. In the fourth ODI, Pakistan defeated England by 13 runs in Rawalpindi. England won by 6 runs in the last ODI played on the same ground.

Pakistan’s team visited England in August amid the Corona epidemic. Then played three Tests and three T20 matches. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) hopes that the short tour of England will showcase Pakistan’s ability to host international matches. Will encourage other teams to visit Pakistan in the 2022 season.
