Film City will be made in UP, CM Yogi announced from Mumbai

UP CM Yogi Adityanath said in Mumbai on Wednesday that the government is going to make Asia’s largest film city in Greater Noida. The world-class infrastructure will be provided in this film city to be built in a thousand acres area. Said that “We are happy that many of Bollywood’s biggest producers-directors and film personalities have agreed to set up their own studios in UP.” UP Film Development Corporation is engaged in realizing CM Yogi’s dream project in Noida.

The CM said that the film will be about six km from Jewar Airport in City Noida and half a km from Delhi. Asia’s largest airport at Jewar is being prepared. Fintech City will also be formed. A media university will also be established there.

Meanwhile, Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut on Wednesday said that it is not easy to establish Mumbai’s ‘Film City’ elsewhere, although attempts have been made to do so. Significantly, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath met a delegation of Bollywood filmmakers and industrialists on Wednesday to discuss the proposed Film City in Uttar Pradesh.

Earlier, Adityanath had proposed to the film industry to move to Uttar Pradesh in an ambitious plan to establish a film city. The Uttar Pradesh government has approved the proposal to set up a Film City in Sector-21 near the Yamuna Expressway in Gautam Budh Nagar. On this whole incident, Raut asked, “What is the current status of Noida Film City? Can you set up a Mumbai film city in Lucknow and Patna? ”

Shiv Sena’s chief spokesperson said, “Such efforts have been made earlier also. It is not easy to install anywhere like Mumbai Film City. Mumbai has a wonderful film history. ”
