I Am Proud To Be Part Of Tandav, Always Wanted To Work With Ali Abbas Zafar, Dream Come True Says Gauahar Khan

Since the time, trailer of ‘Tandav’ has been released, the audience is super excited to watch this political drama. Gauahar Khan who is a part of the show is waiting for the show to premiere on 15th January on Amazon Prime. She spoke to News Helpline about the show, her life post marriage and other plans.

Gauahar plays the role of Maithili Sharan in the show Tandav. Talking about the show, she said, “I am proud to be part of Tandav. I always wanted to work with Ali Abbas Zafar and I am happy that he approached me for this show. It is like a dream come true for me.”
She further added, “Audience is very happy to see the starcast of the show. Such big names together and the excitement level is very big. I am also excited to watch the show and I am hoping that people will love the show and my character in it.

Talking about her character, she said, “It is a very strong character whose life revolves around politics. Maithili is a woman of very less words and is very intense. I am super happy that I got to play such a role.”

Gauahar who got married last month to Zaid Darbar has been shooting continuously post her marriage and has not got any time for a holiday. Talking about this she said, “I have been working nonstop post my wedding. I am shooting for a film and two shows simultaneously till April.”

Talking about when we will be able to see her and Zaid together on screen, she said, “We have been getting offers but we want to be part of the best. So waiting to finalise something. Hopefully it will happen soon.”

Ali Abbas Zafar’s Tandav as a show will take you to the darkest lanes of Indian Politics. The show features Saif Ali Khan, Dimple Kapadia, Sunil Grover, Sarah Zane Dias, Mohd. Zeeshan Ayyub and Kritika Kamra. The show premieres on 15th January on Amazon Prime.
