If farmers doesn’t get MSP, I will resign – Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala Haryana BJP government

Haryana Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala broke the silence on the ongoing deadlock between the central government and farmer organizations, saying that farmers are always the first for them. Chautala said that if the farmer does not get the minimum support price for his crop, then he will be the first to resign.

Speaking to the media, Chautala said that the Center has agreed to give the farmers in writing the minimum support price. Chautala said that farmers’ organizations are in constant dialogue with the government. In such a situation, a solution will be found soon. He said that as long as he is in government, he will definitely raise the minimum support price for farmers and assure that the farmers get MSP for their crops.
Allegations made by the opposition that ‘Chautala is sticking to the post of a minister’, but Dushyant said that as long as he is in power, he will continue to work to provide farmers a fair price for their crops. The day they will not be able to do so, they will resign. Chautala said that he would be the first to resign.

Chautala said that we are procuring Bajra crop from farmers at record level and the officials have been instructed to buy more crops so that farmers get a fair price for the crop. On the attack of the opposition, Chautala said that it seems to me that the opposition is most interested in me. Farmers will continue to get the price of their crop as long as they have a representative in the government. I am in the government as the representative of the farmers. The Haryana government is continuously advising the Center on the matter.

Dushyant said that he is in constant touch with Union ministers Tomar and Piyush Goyal. Apart from this, talks are being held with the rest of the people. Chautala said that I hope that the struggle of the farmers will prevail. The farmers will definitely agree with their benefits. Suggestions have been made to the Center by the Haryana government.
