The Indian cricket team defeated Australia by 3 wickets in the fourth Test match played in Brisbane and captured the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2-1. In 1984, West Indies won the Test match against England by scoring 344 runs in the fifth innings. Team India have captured the series after losing the first Test match for the fifth time. This is the third time a team has achieved the biggest goal against Australia in its home. Earlier in 2008-09, South Africa had a target of 414 runs in Perth and in 1928 -1929 England had achieved a target of 332 in Melbourne.

Not only this, this third biggest goal has been achieved by India. Earlier, the target of 406 runs was achieved against West Indies in 1975-76 and the biggest against England in 2008-09.
