Actually, after reaching Australia, both will have to stay in mandatory quarantine for 14 days. If they do not leave India on Monday, they will not be able to participate in the practice match against Australia-A from 6 to 8 December.
The first Test is scheduled to begin in Adelaide on December 17, but it is a four-Test series. Rohit and Ishant may not be able to catch flights to Australia in the next 3-4 days, but both may be available for the Boxing Day Test.
