IPL 2020 FINAL Preview: Mumbai Indians team to win title for fifth time, Delhi Capitals eye on becoming champions for the first time

Mumbai Indians, clad in the stars who are desirous of winning the fifth title, will enter the IPL final here on Tuesday, while Delhi Capitals will stand in front of them confidently making it to the title match for the first time. Delhi has no shortage of ‘match winners’. After completing 52 days of thrilling matches, there is now one last match of this ‘special’ IPL. Especially because despite all the challenges and obstacles, its successful event has helped the audience to get rid of the negativity created by the corona virus epidemic.

IPL’s most successful captain Rohit Sharma is eyeing the fifth title. At the same time, Delhi has reached this point for the first time after being proved to be laggards in the last twelve seasons. It is very rare that only two of the most powerful contenders compete for the title. This time however only the top two teams are face to face. Mumbai won 10 out of 15 matches while Delhi won nine out of 16 matches. Mumbai players continued to dominate the tournament from the very beginning. Mumbai’s batsmen have hit 130 sixes while Delhi have scored 84 sixes..

Quintan De Kock’s performance was particularly well received. At the same time, Rohit captained well, eliminating all the apprehensions about his hamstring injury. The way Suryakumar Yadav batted, forgetting the grief of not being selected in the Indian team for the Australia tour, has become an example. Till now he has hit 60 fours and 10 sixes. Ishaan Kishan has hit 29 sixes.

If the Delhi bowlers Kagiso Rabada (29 wickets) and Enrich Nortje (20 wickets) overcome these two, then the challenge of Pandya brothers is not easy. Both are also in tremendous form. Shikhar Dhawan has scored over 600 runs for Delhi. Now they have to do something special to face the exact yorker and inswing of Jaspreet Bumrah and Trent Boult. Mumbai have registered a one-sided victory over Delhi in three matches this season, but if Delhi wins the game in the most important match, then all three defeats will become meaningless.
