KL Rahul holds the record for most runs in IPL 2020 and he also has an orange cap on his head. KL Rahul has scored 670 runs in 14 matches at an average of 55.83 in the current season. Rahul’s team is out of the playoffs and hence he will not be seen playing. In such a situation, other batsmen have a chance to break KL Rahul’s record. Let us know which are the batsmen.

Shikhar Dhawan – Dhawan is the second highest run-scorer in the current season. He has scored 471 runs in 13 matches at an average of 47.10. Dhawan can break KL Rahul’s record. However, if his team reaches the Delhi Capitals playoffs then they will have a good chance.

David Warner – Sunrisers Hyderabad captain David Warner can also leave KL Rahul behind. Warner has scored 444 runs in 13 matches at an average of 37.00 this season.

Shubhaman Gill – KKR’s star batsman Shubhaman Gill can also replace KL Rahul by Orange Cap. Gill has scored 440 runs in 14 matches at an average of 33.84.

Virat Kohli – RCB captain Virat Kohli can also break KL Rahul’s record for most runs in this season. Virat Kohli has scored 431 runs in 13 matches at an average of 47.38 so far. RCB captain Virat Kohli has also been in excellent form. RCB will be more likely to make it to the playoffs anyway. If this happens, Virat Kohli will have more chances to break Rahul’s record.
