IPL 2021: These four players set to be eliminated from the champions Mumbai Indians

The teams have been given time to release and retain the players before the IPL 2021 auction. Defending champions Mumbai Indians may also release some players before the upcoming season, which we are referring to here.

Sherfen Rutherford– West Indies all-rounder Rutherford did not play a single match under the last season of the IPL. He was inducted by the team through a trade window. Given his utility, Mumbai may release him.

Nathan Kulpeter Nile– The kangaroo player was bought by Mumbai Indians for eight crores. His performance in the IPL 2020 has not gone as expected. Nathan took 5 wickets in seven matches and scored 25 runs off the bat. In such a situation, they can also be released.

Saurabh Tiwari– This star player also failed to perform brilliantly for Mumbai Indians in IPL 2020. He scored 25 runs in 7 matches and hence his leave is also fixed. Mumbai Indians may include another player by releasing Saurabh Tiwari.

Chris Lynn– Mumbai Indians laid claim to Chris Lynn after his release from KKR after IPL 2019. But he did not get a chance to play a single match in IPL 2020. In such a situation, Mumbai Indians hardly keep them. There are many star explosive batsmen in Mumbai Indians because of which players like Chris Lynn cannot get a chance. That is why they can be released.
