1. Free WiFi in entire Delhi
Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has inaugurated the free WiFi service at 109 places, fulfilling the promise of free WiFi in Delhi. Under the scheme, the Kejriwal government has announced hotspots at 4 thousand bus stops so far. Preparations are also being made to install hotspots at 7 thousand other places. Speed of 200 Mbps will be available.
2.15 lakh CCTV cameras in Delhi
Arvind Kejriwal government has also fulfilled the promise of installing CCTV cameras in Delhi. The AAP government has passed the proposal to install 1.40 lakh cameras in Delhi in a cabinet meeting in August 2019.
3. Janlokpal will get passed.
CM Arvind Kejriwal had announced to pass the Jan Lokpal bill in his manifesto. After becoming CM, he first passed the Jan Lokpal bill in the Delhi Assembly. The Aam Aadmi Party government brought this bill. The bill was amended to include Anna Hazare’s demands and the bill was passed.
4. Electricity price half
Arvind Kejriwal is telling his major achievement by fulfilling the promise of waiving 200 units of electricity in the 2020 assembly elections. Kejriwal government has made power up to 200 units free. In an interview, Kejriwal said that if his party once again comes to power, then for five years, 200 units of electricity will be free.
5.20 thousand liters of water free
In Delhi, the Aam Aadmi Party government, fulfilling its election promise, has given 20 thousand liters of water free to Delhiites every month. Ever since Kejriwal’s government came to power in Delhi, the water bill in Delhi has been waived.
6. Full state status to Delhi
The Arvind Kejriwal government, which has been in power in Delhi for the last five years, has called for a special session in the Legislative Assembly and has tried to give Delhi full statehood. Delhi has not got full state status. In the assembly elections, the BJP is preparing to surround the Aam Aadmi Party on the issue of full statehood.
7. E-rickshaw to run in Delhi
License has been given to e-rickshaw driver in Delhi. DMRC will run its own e-rickshaw in the coming times. Metro has its own e-rickshaws running in Dwarka in Delhi.
8. Subsidy will be given to the farmers of Delhi.
Taking several big steps for the welfare of the farmers, the Arvind Kejriwal government has given a subsidy of Rs 105 per kilowatt on electricity connection to the farmers of Delhi. 11 thousand farmers have benefited from this.
9. Will make Yamuna clean and beautiful.
Arvind Kejriwal’s government has been working for the last five years to make Yamuna clean. The work for cleaning Yamuna is going on very fast. Kejriwal government says that in the next five years, the water of Yamuna will be clean like Ganges.
10. Home Guard Services for Women Safety
In Delhi, the Aam Aadmi Party government has appointed home guards in the buses to fulfill its election promise. Home guards have been deployed in DTC buses for the safety of women.
