No opportunity in IPL auction, now S. Sreesanth has done a great job after 15 years

In the IPL 2021 auction, fast bowler Sreesanth was not shortlisted and hence the bowler’s dream of playing in the league was shattered. However, S Sreesanth has now shown an act that gave IPL franchise teams a befitting reply.

Sreesanth has taken five wickets in List A cricket for the first time in 15 years. He did this in the match against Uttar Pradesh while playing for Kerala in Vijay Hazare Trophy. Sreesanth has recently returned to cricket after a long time and has now taken five wickets for 65 runs, playing the first List A match in eight years. Please tell that Sreesanth took the first wicket in the match as Abhishek Sharma.

It was followed by wickets in the death over with Uttar Pradesh captain Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Mohsin Khan, Akshdeep Nath and Shivam Sharma. On the basis of Sreesanth’s lethal bowling, Uttar Pradesh team scored 283 runs in 49.4 overs and in reply Kerala achieved the target by losing seven wickets in 48.4 overs.

Significantly, Sreesanth got caught in spot-fixing during IPL 2013 due to which he had to be away from cricket for a few years. Although he has made a comeback after Bain, before that Sreesanth also appeared in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. It is worth noting that Sreesanth has 27 Tests, 53 ODIs and 10 T20 games for India. Sreesanth was also part of the 2011 World Cup-winning Indian team.
