Over 10 Maharashtra MLAs unhappy in BJP, claims state NCP chief

Jayant Patil, Maharashtra NCP chief and minister in the Uddhav Thackeray government, has claimed that more than ten BJP MLAs are unhappy in the state. A decision can be taken on including these MLAs in the NCP in the future. The NCP in Maharashtra is part of the Shiv Sena-led Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA), in which the Congress is the third ally. Jayant Patil told the media that ‘More than 10 BJP MLAs are dissatisfied. They are upset with the arrangement of that party. He has spoken to us many times about this. Therefore, a decision can be taken about them in the future. ”Water Resources Minister Patil said this after inducting a former MLA of Janusharajya Party into NCP. In recent times, BJP strongman Eknath Khadse and Jaisingh Gaikwad had left the saffron party and joined the NCP.

Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar said that the NCP should try to strengthen its base in Western Maharashtra. There is the influence of the party. Pawar later said that it has been decided in Maha Vikas Aghadi that if any opposition MLA resigns and joins NCP, Shiv Sena, or Congress, then the other two parties will support his candidature against BJP.

He said that it is natural that the BJP will resign and field its candidate against the candidate contesting from another party. In this case, two constituents of MVA will help that candidate in the election. Will campaign for him. He further said that when the three parties of three Maha Vikas Aghadis come together, there will be no problem in winning the MLA resigning again.
