Oxygen Crisis: Amid the lack of oxygen in Delhi and other states, the Home Ministry said in an order that no restrictions will be imposed on the movement of medical oxygen between the states. Inter-state movement of vehicles carrying oxygen should be allowed. Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia said in a press conference today that oxygen has been completely depleted in many hospitals in Delhi. Sisodia said, “When the central government has increased the allocation of oxygen to Delhi, then why are the governments of Haryana and Uttar Pradesh behaving like Delhi has a quarrel with Uttar Pradesh and Haryana.”

Delhi’s deputy CM said, “Today, there is a panic of oxygen everywhere in Delhi because Haryana and Uttar Pradesh have created a jungle rage about oxygen.” The governments, officials, police there are not letting oxygen out of the oxygen plant there for Delhi. The central government should intervene in this.
