Pankaj Triapthi creates awareness about sexual consent under ‘Poochna Zaroori Hai’ campaign

National award-winning actor Pankaj Triapthi dropped a video on social media on Monday which creates awareness about sexual consent .The video also features Tripathi’s colleagues from film industry such as Pratik Gandhi, Vijay Varma, Pavail Gulati, Karan Tacker and Nakuul Mehta. Sharing the video on his Instagram handle, Tripathi wrote, “Shaadi ke bina bhi. Shaadi ke baad bhi. #PoochnaZarooriHai”.

In the small video, all the six actors’ talks about the importance of consent before getting intimate “Sex without consent is sexual abuse, before marriage and after marriage,” ‘Newton’ actor says in the video. The video got around 300k likes on Instagram.

Triapthi’s recently released web series ‘Criminal Justice: Behind Closed Doors’ tells the story of Anu Chandra, portrayed by actor Kirti Kulhari who experiences marital sexual abuse and the trauma the victim goes through behind closed doors. In the show, Pankaj is seen as a lawyer fighting Anu’s case.

On film front, Tripathi will next be seen in Kabir Khan’s ‘83’, Laxman Utekar’s ‘Mimi’, Yash Raj Films productions ‘Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar’ and Farhad Samji’s ‘Bachchan Pandey’.

While, Vijay Varma will be seen in Nikhil Nagesh Bhatt’s ‘Hurdang’, Pavail Gulati will feature in Omung Kumar’s ‘Janhit Mein Jaari’ and ‘Scam 1992’ actor Pratik Gandhi will star in Hardik Gajjar directorial ‘Ravan Leela’.
