PM Modi reiterated – Our principle is sabka saath, sabka vikas and everyone’s faith

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today addressed the session of United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) through digital medium. Addressing the concluding session of ECOSOC, PM Modi said that India has dealt with it fast, be it earthquake, cyclone, Ebola or any kind of natural or humanitarian crisis. In our common fight against Corona, we have given medical aid to more than 150 countries. PM Modi also said that our very old tradition is to live in a peaceful way with nature. We have launched the biggest cleaning scheme and reduced the use of single use plastic.

PM Modi said that we have set a target to completely eliminate TB by 2025. Prime Minister Modi said that while moving forward on the path of development, we are not forgetting our responsibilities for this planet. In the last few years we have reduced 38 million tonnes of carbon emissions annually. Referring to the Father of the Nation, PM Modi said that last year we celebrated the 150th birth anniversary of our Father, during this time, the goal of complete sanitization in 6,000 villages of India was met.

PM Modi said that one-sixth of the total population of Isan lives in India. We know our importance and responsibilities. We know that if we meet the goals of development, then it will help to meet the global goals. PM Modi said that our principle is Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, everyone’s faith.
