Salim Merchant Unveils Oh Saaiyan From The Power

After having created magic in Hindi cinema with songs in films like ‘Kurbaan’, ‘Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi’, and ‘102 Not Out’, the music composer Salim and Sulaiman are all set to rule the hearts of their fans with a new track Oh Saaiyan from The Power.

Salim unveiled the song on his social media and wrote, “Loved making this song for the film – The Power. @VidyutJammwal @shrutihaasan @Atmojoarjalojo @rajpandit17 @kumaarofficial @SlimSulaiman @Vijay_Galani @ZeeMusicCompany @ZeeplexOfficial”
The song is penned by Kumaar. The song is crooned by Arijit Singh and Raj Pandit, the song features Vidyut Jammwal and Shruti Haasan.

The Power is helmed by Mahesh Manjrekar, starring Vidyut Jammwal and Shruti Haasan as lovers who get caught up in a family feud. The makers recently dropped the trailer of the film, which saw Vidyut and Shruti as a couple madly in love and planning to get married. However, their plans get derailed when one of her loved ones is killed, seemingly by someone in his family.

Mahesh Manjrekar, director of The Power, plays Vidyut’s father in the film. Prateik Babbar has a pivotal role as well. Other cast members include Jisshu Sengupta and Sachin Khedekar. The film is scheduled to premiere on the pay-per-view platform Zee Plex.
