Actor Sanjay Dutt’s wife Maanayata Dutt took to her Instagram handle on Tuesday to share a throwback picture of herself along with an inspiring caption about the fighting and facing fears. In her latest post, Maanayata is seen posing outside a building and is dressed in a green and white asymmetric dress.

On August 11, Sanjay Dutt was hospitalized for a few days due to breathing problems and chest discomfort, Later, the ‘ Vaastav’ actor shared that he was taking a break for medical treatment.

Although the 61-year-old actor or his family members did not reveal anything officially, trade analyst and film industry insider Komal Nahta soon confirmed that Dutt has been diagnosed with lung cancer.

Soon after that, Maanayata Dutt released an official statement about her husband’s health and urged people not to be taken in by speculation and said, “Sanju has always been a fighter, and so has our family. God has yet again chosen to test us to overcome the challenges ahead. All we seek is your prayers and blessings, and we know we will emerge as winners on the other side, as we always have. Let us use this opportunity to spread light and positivity.”

According to news reports, Sanjay and his family would fly to the US for his treatment, but Maanayata clarified that any travel plans will only be decided as per the developments in his health.]

Sanjay Dutt was last seen in Mahesh Bhatt’s ‘Sadak 2’ alongside Alia Bhatt, Aditya Roy Kapur and Pooja Bhatt. He has a number of projects lined up for a release including ‘Bhuj: The Pride of India’, ‘Torbaaz’, ‘KGF: Chapter 2’, ‘Shamshera’ and ‘Prithviraj’.
