Kathi rolls have fast become the regular street food around the country, with a host of eateries and stalls selling a variety of these delicious, filling rolls. This is an easy and quick recipe that you can try at home for brunch or a heavy evening meal. A single Kathi roll can be had for lunch or dinner and you’ll be full for long. Chicken Kathi roll has a delicious melange of chicken tikka and spices rolled together and served with a chutney. You can have it with your friends for a casual dinner at home.

Ingredients you will need for the roll are:

250 grams Boneless Chicken
1 Big onion
1 Green chili
1/2 teaspoon Garlic
1 small piece Ginger
Salt as per taste
1 teaspoon coriander powder
1/2 teaspoon turmeric
1 tsp Black pepper
2 tablespoons fresh curd
1 tsp butter
1 tsp Garam Masala
1 bowl Flour
2 Eggs
METHOD:

Wash the chicken thoroughly first, add salt and boil it for 10 minutes. Now put one big spoon of oil in a pan on one and onion, ginger, garlic together in it and roast them till they turn brown, add turmeric, coriander, salt according to taste, add some water and mix well and cover it with a lid.

Now after the chicken pieces are boiled add them to this mixture and now add curd, black pepper, garam masala in it and mix well and add butter.

Add a little salt to the maida and keep it for 10 minutes. Take 1 egg, add salt, black pepper, green coriander, green chili and whisk well. Heat a pan on a medium flame. Now take a roti put it on the pan and cook it on both sides, after adding the egg mixture to it add some ghee.

Place this egg roti on a plate. Spread green chutney in it and put the prepared chicken in the center, add onion and chaat masala, make a roll and serve with onion, green chutney.
