Coronavirus cases are still not getting less across the country nut still government has removed some of the restrictions and now it looks like everything is going back to normal slowly. Travelling has almost been started but not that much though. Many of us have been away from our parents and relatives due to this pandemic and lockdown but now when its all getting started again who would not want to wish to travel back home or to visit their loved ones. But no matter what we still need to prevent the risk of COVID-19 while travelling.

Here are ways you can prevent yourself from COVID-19 risk while traveling:

Get Yourself Tested- First thing you have to make sure before traveling within the country or outside is to get yourself tested, as it is not just about your safety but also your loved ones. Most of the cities won’t allow you to enter if you won’t have your coronavirus test report. And if you see any symptoms then consult your doctor and postpone your travel plans till you get healthy and recover properly.

Choose The Right Mode Of Transportation- Though, air travel has been resumed and it’s okay if you travel in a less distance but make sure you keep all the safety measures while air traveling like using a face mask and face shields all the time, not eating anything on the flight, not using washroom if not required, Most importantly wash your hands and face after deboarding because airplanes are known to be breeding house of germs. As it is closed so there is a higher chance to get the risk.

But if you’re traveling by road and don’t have a car then rent one. Traveling with people won’t be a safer option. If you’re hiring then make sure the driving doesn’t show any symptom of the virus. Also, make sure you don’t eat or go to the washroom in an overcrowded place.

Plan Your Trip Properly- You just can’t travel without planning like before. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, you need to plan your trip first like talk to your relatives to whom you gonna visit that how is the situation in their city, is there any case nearby or lockdown on weekends etc.
