The new season of the Indian Super League (ISL), the biggest domestic tournament of football in India, starts on 20 November. Players from across the country and abroad are reaching Goa to participate in this tournament. All the matches without spectators will be played at the three stadiums of Goa. A strange incident has taken place with Roy Krishna of Fiji playing for ATK Mohan Bagan. He took a flight from his hometown Labasa to take part in the tournament on 24 September and 40 days later he arrived to train.

Actually, Krishna had to catch 4 connecting flights in 40 days. During this time he had 10 Covid-19 Tests. The 33-year-old footballer spent 30 days in three different countries. Krishna is counted as the top player in the ISL. They could have ended their journey in as many as two days, but this did not happen during the Corona period. Krishna took a flight from Labasa to Fiji’s Nadi. After this, he went to Auckland, New Zealand. Thence to Sydney, Australia. Then from Sydney to New Delhi and finally to Goa.

Krishna said, “I went crazy. I used to sanitize myself all the time. used to clean every corner and was always wearing a mask. “Krishna has scored 15 goals in 21 matches for Kolkata. He is the joint number-one player with the highest goals for ATK. Last year, ATK became the champion for the third time. Krishna was selected as the best player in the Australian League in 2018-19, playing for Wellington Phonics
