UK Couple accidentally dumped Rs 14 lakhs in garbage during the cleaning of the house

Whenever we clean the house or our room we take out a lot of unwanted stuff or garbage from the house and many times we throw such things out which can be very important for us. However, after throwing we can’t do anything but just regret. A similar case has emerged from England. Here, a couple threw a box out as a piece of garbage during the cleaning of the house and it was found that there was Rs 14 lakhs cash in that box.

The incident is from Somerset, England and the Somerset Police have also shared the matter on Facebook. According to the reports, the couple was cleaning the house of a deceased relative as there were many old boxes. The couple gave them to the Recycling Center in Midsomer Northam. As soon as the employees of the recycling center checked the boxes before recycling one of them found 15,000 pounds in that box.

The employee immediately reported to this Avon and Somerset Police, showing it honestly and Police extracted the number of the car in which these boxes were found, based on CCTV footage installed at the recycling center and based on the car’s number plate the police reached the couple’s house.

Also, when the police asked the couple about that money then they said that the cash belonged to their relative and he had a habit of hiding money. When the police were satisfied with their answer they returned the money box to the couple. The Police thanked the employee of the recycling center for his honesty and the police gave this information in a Facebook post.
