Yesterday, Abhishek Kapoor who is directing her in ‘Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui’ introduced her character Maanvi from the film with a big appreciation post.

Vaani Kapoor is just three films old in Bollywood but her charming personality has made her the choice of many directors and she has a list of films in her kitty now.
Yesterday, Abhishek Kapoor who is directing her in ‘Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui’ introduced her character Maanvi from the film with a big appreciation post. The actress then wrote a heartfelt note for the director.
Sharing her first look from the film, she wrote, “This post is so so special. Couldn’t be more grateful to be Maanvi in your film…it’s you & your vision that brings out the best.”
Prior to this, Abhishek aka Gattu Kapoor had introduced her character from the film and had written that only Vaani has the courage, sensitivity and fragility to be his maanvi. Vaani is currently shooting for the film in Chandigarh and she also spent her Diwali with Abhishek and his wife Pragya there.
Film ‘Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui is a love story set in North India with Ayushmann Khurrana and Vaani as leads. Abhishek Kapoor is directing the film in which Ayushmann will be seen essaying the role of a cross functional athlete.
On the workfront, Vaani will soon be seen in ‘Shamshera’ starring Ranbir Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt. The film is directed by Karan Malhotra and is about a dacoit tribe who took charge in fight for their rights and independence against the British.
She will also be seen in ‘Bell Bottom’ opposite Akshay Kumar. The film is directed by Ranjit M Tewari and produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Jacky Bhagnani, Deepshikha Deshmukh, Monisha Advani, Manju Bhojwani and Nikkhil Advani. It also stars Huma Qureshi and Lara Bhupathi in prominent roles.
