Want Oil-Free skin, then you need to avoid these food items

We buy many beauty and skincare products when we want oil-free skin but you won’t be able to get it until and unless you control your bad eating habits. In this case, the only important thing that matters is what we put on our plate as our skin is the a direct reflection of how your healthy body is.

Fried Foods- To maintain the shine of our skin, it is important to pay attention to our diet. All the deep-fried pakoras, french fries, or samosa have a very bad effect on your skin. Sp avoids all fried foods or food with butter or ghee.

Refined Grains- Food items like bread, cakes, cookies, candies, pasta, pancakes, etc. causes oiliness and acne on the skin as these food items lose fibre and other nutrients during processing and have a high glycemic index which have a great impact on our blood sugar. You can replace these food items with wholewheat products like popcorn, brown rice or quinoa.

Sugary Sweets- During monsoon season we all like to have Jalebi’s but if you want clear and oil-free skin, you need to avoid sugary food and drinks. Items like chocolate, biscuits, ice creams, cakes etc should be avoided to get clear and clean skin.

To curb your sweet cravings you can add raw sugar, honey, fresh fruits, jaggery, berries to your diet. You can replace aerated drinks and sugar syrup based drinks with fresh juices, buttermilk, nimbu paani, or coconut water.
