What is WhatsApp OTP Scam? First of all, the hackers claim that they are your friends by hacking your friend’s account, and also claim that an OTP has been forwarded to your phone number by mistake.

After this, you will be asked to send or tell the OTP to your number. Actually, OTP is required while logging in to the account on the new device. If you have shared OTP then hackers will be able to hack your account and access your chat and group chats.
