Why ICAI has to take CA exam, why not worry about COVID-19? – Ravish Kumar’s post viral

NDTV journalist Ravish Kumar has targeted the institution after the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) reportedly did not have adequate test arrangements even after delays in the examination of CA students. He said why ICAI has to undergo a CA examination, why they are not worried about the coronavirus epidemic. The Mock Test and Information Systems Audit Eligibility Test (ISA ET), which was to be held on November 20 and November 28, has been canceled for some reason, according to its notification on the institution’s website. Now the new exam dates have been announced.

Journalist Ravish Kumar writes on his Facebook post on 19 November that ‘ICAI is a chartered accountant’s body. Look at the condition of this institution that in eight months, CA has not been able to arrange for an online examination. Now it has taken out such a calendar of examination which will last for a few days. It is not that one-hour examination is over and it is over.

The post said that students will have to come to the same center again and again. On one hand, the curfew is going on in Ahmedabad because the spread of Kovid-19 can be controlled and here is the test. It is true of the students that if four and a half lakh students become infected during the examination then what will happen to their examination and health? Students have been writing on Twitter for some days, but someone should pay attention.

Ravish, anchor of the show Pritam Tom on the channel also oversaw the home ministry. He said that the Ministry of Home Affairs should audit the preparation of such an examination. How has permission been granted? And if the organization of chartered accountants cannot arrange for the online examination then what will be the meaning of Digital India? Therefore, the institution should consider its absurd decision and carry forward the examination calendar.
