The new Yamaha Fazer250 motorcycle has ergonomics befitting of a sportstourer. Right from the handlebar position to the footpeg mounts, just about everything hints at a fairly relaxed riding posture. Also, the new full-fairing helps the Yamaha Fazer25 offer enough wind protection to the rider from wind blasts at high speeds. In terms of dimensions, the new bike is larger than the Fazer 150cc. Like we said, the new motorcycle is based on the FZ25 but comes with a full fairing. Other than the front-end, and also new dual-tone paint schemes, the Fazer 250cc looks much like the FZ25. The side panels, the fuel-tank, the end-can – everything comes from the FZ25.
The new Yamaha Fazer25 250cc motorcycle gets the same engine as the FZ25. This means much like its streetnaked sibling, even the new Fazer gets a 249cc, single-cylinder, fuel-injected engine that comes mated to a five-speed Manual Transmission. Even the specifications are much like those of the FZ25. The engine outputs a maximum power of 20.6 BHP at 8,000 RPM and a peak torque of 20 Nm at 6,000 RPM. Exactly like the FZ25, the new Fazer 250cc motorcycle is built on a diamond frame chassis. The new motorcycle even gets the same brake setup at each wheel. Of course, suspension is same, too. You get telescopic forks up front and a mono-shock at the rear. The new model weighs slightly more than the FZ25’s 148 KGs.
