The Road Safety World Series was to be held last year, but due to the effect of Coronavirus it was postponed and it is being organized this year. Due to the impact of the corona virus, this entire tournament was organized in Bio Secure Bubble. All the matches of the tournament took place at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium in Raipur. There were no reports of any player being infected during the entire tournament, but after the conclusion of the tournament, one by one the players were hit by Corona.

On the other hand, the Sri Lankan government has also become cautious after Indian players have been infected with the Coronavirus. The Sri Lankan government has asked all the players participating in the Road Safety World Series to go to the Self Quarantine. According to the media report, the health officials have asked all these players to stay in the self-quarantine till next Saturday. These players will be allowed to come out only when the PCR test for their corona is negative.

The final match of the first edition of the Road Safety World Series was played between India Legends and Sri Lankan Legends. In the finals of this tournament, India Legends won the trophy by defeating the Sri Lankan Legends by 12 runs.

Sachin Tendulkar was the first player to participate in this tournament, who talked of coming to Corona positive himself. However, Sachin Tendulkar had tweeted that he had mild symptoms of corona after which he underwent the test.
