BCCI President Sourav Ganguly has made a big statement amid rising cases of coronavirus in the country. On the last day, he has confirmed that the upcoming IPL 2021 will be all as per schedule. Let me tell you that recently, along with many other parts of the country, the cases of corona have increased rapidly in Maharashtra as well.

Not only this, to prevent the spread of Kovid-19, the Maharashtra government has announced a lockdown on weekends and a curfew every day at night. Among the six cities where IPL matches are to be held, Mumbai is also included. In such a situation, the question was arising as to how the IPL matches would be held in the lockdown. Although BCCI President Sourav Ganguly has said in this matter, everything will be as per schedule.

Let us tell you that 10 matches will be played at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium this season from 10 to 25 April. The first match at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium is to be played between Delhi Capitals and Chennai Super Kings on 10 April. Explain that the corona remains overshadowed on IPL 2021.

Before the start of the tournament, three players have been hit by Kovid-19. First, KKR reported that Nitish Rana was corona positive. After this, Akshar Patel of Delhi Capitals has also turned positive. On the other hand, RCB opener batsman Devdutt Padikkal has also been hit by an epidemic. Let us know that the 14th season of IPL will start on April 9 and the final match will be played on May 30 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
