Bihar Cricket Association organized T20 league against BCCI’s permission, now board can ban players

The Bihar Cricket Board organized the T20 Cricket League despite the BCCI’s order. But even then, the State Cricket Association organized this tournament in Patna between March 20-26 Patna. Five teams took part in this tournament and the Darbhanga Diamonds team became the winner of the tournament. The tournament was also aired and was broadcast by Eurosport. When the players were auctioned for this tournament, the tournament did not get the green flag of the BCCI. After this, after the news came in the media, the Cricket Association was asked by the board to stop the event.

According to a report by news agency ANI, BCCI interim CEO Hemang Amin had sent a letter on 23 March telling the BCA that its T20 league has not been approved and it should be stopped immediately. In his letter, Hemang Amin said that if he does not accept the warning, then he will have to be ready for the action of the board.

In his letter to the Bihar Cricket Association, Hemang wrote, “We appreciate BCA’s efforts to create a cricket culture in the state of Bihar and assure you that the BCA will cooperate with the BCA under the rules. So the BCCI will give you T20 domestic cricket Instructions to cancel the tournament (BCL). If the BCA does not cancel this T20 tournament then it will be considered as an unacceptable tournament as per the BCCI rules and guidelines. According to BCCI rules, BCA will be responsible for sanctions. ”

If the news is to be believed then the BCCI board may stop the annual grant of BCA. Apart from this, the players and officials who took part in this league can also be banned.
