Continuation of deaths is also continuing in the growing cases of corona (covid-19). According to a report, officials of two crematoriums and one cemetery in Bhopal say that 84 bodies were cremated or buried with covid-19 protocol in Bhopal on Tuesday.

On the other hand, the health department has reported only five covid-19 deaths in the city while 40 deaths have been reported in the entire middle. State Health Minister Prabhuram Chaudhary denied the allegations that the number of deaths in the state was underreporting.

He said, “We came to know about the cremation of a large number of dead bodies and we are looking into the matter.” But reporting of cases and deaths is not under consideration. ”

In the week ended on Wednesday, an average of 6,477 cases and 32 deaths occurred in Madhya Pradesh. So far, 363,352 cases of covid-19 have been reported and 4,312 deaths have been reported in the state.

As per covid-19 protocol at the Bhadbhada Vishram Ghat on Tuesday, 47 bodies were cremated, 28 bodies were buried in Subhash Nagar and nine bodies were buried in the Jahangirabad cemetery.

Pradeep Kanojia, 32, an employee at the Subhash Nagar crematorium, said, “I have been cremating covid-19 infected bodies for the last one year, but I have never seen such a pile of dead bodies in the last one week.”

People have to wait hours for cremation. The family is waiting for an ambulance outside the ground for cremation.

Mamatesh Sharma, an employee of Bhadrabha Vishram Ghat said, “The situation is getting so bad that the crematorium is facing a shortage of wood.”

Similarly, Rehan Golden, the cemetery in-charge of Jahangirabad said, “We are already digging the burial pit as nine bodies arrived at the cemetery on Tuesday, which is the highest number of dead bodies buried in a single day in recent years.”
