In view of the threat of Corona virus, BCCI took a major decision on the coverage of IPL 2021

The risk of corona virus remains constant over IPL 2021. The 14th season of the IPL will begin on April 9. BCCI has taken a big decision on IPL coverage before that. In fact, the BCCI has decided that the media will not be allowed to cover the matches of the 14th season of the IPL in view of the corona epidemic, but the sanctions can be lifted if the situation improves.

The BCCI said in its ongoing press release that media personnel cannot enter the stadium to cover matches and team practice sessions, given health and safety concerns. However, BCCI will provide media with the facility of virtual press conferences after every match.

In view of the threat of coronavirus, the BCCI has challenges to organize IPL and hence it has been decided to organize the tournament on empty grounds. It may be noted that last year, due to the Coronavirus, IPL was organized outside India in UAE, but amid the second wave of Corona, BCCI is going to organize IPL in India this time.

The BCCI has implemented a strict protocol for IPL 2021. Not only this, the players have to keep a bio bubble during the entire tournament. The BCCI has also set up a team to monitor the IPL’s bio bubble. Let us know that this season of IPL will conclude with the final match on May 30.
