IND VS ENG: England can take advantage of these three weaknesses of Team India in the second ODI

The second ODI between India and England will be played in Pune on Friday 26 March. In the first ODI match, Team India won by 66 runs, but now England will want to return from the second ODI. The Indian team is still in trouble after the series win and its weaknesses have been revealed. England’s team can win the series by taking advantage of India’s weaknesses in the second ODI.

First weakness – After Rohit Sharma is injured, Team India will have to field a new opening pair under the second ODI. Shubhaman Gill along with Shikhar Dhawan can land on the ground. Shubman Gill is a young talented batsman but in recent times his form has been poor and due to this, he cannot be said about whether he will be able to show up in the second ODI.

Second weakness – Power Play – Under the first match of the series, it was seen that the batsmen of Team India had slowed down in the power play. Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan gave a slow start to Team India. It is generally observed that it is difficult to recover from injury after a poor onset. Team India did this in the first ODI but England will take advantage if the hosts do not get a fast start in the second ODI.

Third weakness – Under the ODI series, Indian spinners are unable to show their power. Kuldeep Yadav proved to be expensive in the first ODI, while Yuzvendra Chahal was expensive under the T20 series earlier.
