IPL 2021: know the status of points table after DC’s win over MI

The 13th match of IPL 2021 was played between Delhi Capitals and Mumbai Indians. Under this match played at the MA Chidambaram Stadium, Mumbai Indians suffered a crushing defeat by 6 wickets. In the match, captain Rohit Sharma led Mumbai Indians to score 137 runs for 20 overs 9 wickets, while Delhi Capitals scored 4 wickets in 19.1 overs in response.

There has been a big change in the points table after the Delhi Capitals’ thumping win over Mumbai Indians. Rishabh Pant led Delhi Capitals to reach second place in the points table after victory. The Delhi team has 6 points from four matches. At the same time, the team of Royal Challengers Bangalore is at the top of the points table.

RCB has six points from three matches. At number three is Chennai Super Kings, who have four points from three matches, while Mumbai Indians are at fourth position with four points from four matches. Apart from this, KKR, Rajasthan Royals and Punjab Kings have played three matches so far and have two points each. Last in the points table is the Sunrisers Hyderabad team whose account is not open even after three matches.

The IPL has a doubleheader on Wednesday 21 April and so two matches will be played between the four teams. The first match will be played between the Punjab Kings and Sunrisers Hyderabad, while the Chennai Super Kings will face KKR in the second match.
