Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom Blessed with a Baby Girl

American singer and song-writer Katy Perry and actor Orlando Bloom welcomed their first baby together. Katy gave birth to an adorable little baby girl on 26 August, 2020. The happy couple could not contain the joy all by themselves and shared the big news with their fans, family and friends on their social media accounts.

The couple signed into a partnership with UNICEF with whom they’re Goodwill Ambassadors, to make the big announcement. The couple in a joint statement said “We are floating with love and order from the safe and healthy arrival of our daughter”.

Katy and Orlando have also shared the name of their little newborn, called her Daisy Dave Bloom. The official UNICEF handle on instagram formally welcomed the baby girl too with a post that read “Welcome to the world Daisy Dove Bloom! We are honoured to introduce Goodwill Ambassadors @KatyPerry and @OrlandoBloom’s new bundle of joy”.

Katy and Orlando announced the pregnancy couple of months ago and mentioned they were expecting a baby girl, meanwhile the singer also released a song called “Daisies” which might have been an indication to the name the couple decided to name their daughter.

This is the first child to Katy and the second to Orlando. The actor also has a son named Flynn Bloom, from his first marriage to supermodel Miranda Kerr.
