Taiwan: Train passing through tunnel derails, 36 killed, more than 100 injured

On Friday, a major train accident took place in Taiwan, in which at least 36 people were reported dead and more than 100 people were injured. According to a report, the fire department said that a train was going through a tunnel in eastern Taiwan on Friday when it derailed. The department said in a statement that the train going to Taitung was passing through a tunnel north of Hualien, during which it went north by the derailment.
