The world is still fighting deadly corona. However, in some countries vaccine trials have started and people are voluntarily going for the vaccine shot. The 81-year-old actor Ian McKellen becomes one of the first actors to get the covid vaccine. He shared his experience with his fans and followers and also recommended it to the people around him without any hesitation.
Known for his role in ‘The Lord of the Rings’, the actor took to his social media to share this news. He wrote, “It’s a very special day, Anyone who has lived as long as I have is alive because they have had previous vaccinations, the take-up amongst the older generation will be 100% – it ought to be – because you’re having it not just for yourself but for people who you are close to – you’re doing your bit for society. Of course, it’s painless… it’s convenient, and getting in touch and meeting NHS staff and saying thank you to them for how hard they’ve been working is a bonus, I would have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone. I feel very lucky to have had the vaccine.”

Earlier this month, the United Kingdom became the first country in the world to give shots of the Covid vaccine to its people. A 90-year-old lady from Britain became the first person in the world to receive the Pfizer Covid-19 vaccine outside of a trial. And Now Ian Mckellan becomes the first actor to get the same.
