In Iran, it is a crime for women to shake hands with unknown men and if the woman is found shaking hands with someone then she is arrested. Last year, Iran’s women volleyball team won the final of the under-23 category of the Global Challenge tournament but the women always could not shake hands with the team’s male coach even after the victory. The coach celebrated the victory by joining hands with the players through a clipboard.

Here the father can also marry his daughter and in 2013 this law was passed in Iran under which any father can marry his adopted daughter but the condition for this is that the daughter must be at least 13 years of age. In this country, women cannot go to the stadium and watch men’s games. Also, women are sentenced to two months in jail for not wearing the hijab here.

In Iran, only men are given to right to divorce and here women do not have the right to ask for a divorce from men. Apart from this, women are also prohibited from working here with the consent of the husband.

It is also considered a crime to stand on the road here and also wearing a tie is also not allowed in this country. Here women wearing tight clothes come under the category of crime. Also, there is a law here that women cannot refuse their husbands to have another relationship.
