Whatsapp Privacy Policy currently banned, Company’s decision on opposition of users

After the recent decision related to the privacy policy update of WhatsApp, people had come out against it. Now Messenger app WhatsApp has decided to postpone its new update by May. WhatsApp says that this will give users a chance to understand the policy, remove confusion and accept it. This has been said in a blog post from the company.

In a blog post, the company said, “We withdraw the last date for accepting new policy updates issued to the public. On 8 February, nobody’s account is going to be deleted or suspended. We are trying to explain to people how WhatsApp works for privacy and security. We will clear people’s confusion. People can review this new policy by 15 May. ‘

WhatsApp previously set a date for February 8 to accept its term of service. There was talk of sharing the data with the Facebook server. In a blog post, WhatsApp wrote, ‘This app was built with a very simple idea. The aim was to stay connected with your friends and family. This means that your personal messages will remain with you and neither WhatsApp nor Facebook will see them. That is why we do not keep any such log that contains information about the message or calling of the people. We do not share your contact with Facebook and cannot even see your location. ‘
