Attacking the Mamata Banerjee-led Trinamool Congress government in West Bengal, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday said that ‘Aasol Paribartan’ (real change) in the state will ensure that the benefits of the Centre’s schemes reach the poor. While requesting the people of the state to vote for the BJP, the Prime Minister said that the state government led by Trinamool Congress will go on 2 May. He said that he would not allow the Trinamool to flee development from Bengal..

He said that development is necessary for Bengal. “Wherever there is a plan in Bengal, there is a scam .. Didi, you are always saying ‘Khela Hobe’ (there will be a game).” Whereas, the people of Bengal have decided that this time ‘Khela Shesh Hobe’ (the game will be over) .. Modi said that if BJP comes to power in the state, then development will be given top priority. Confident of BJP’s victory, Modi also said that this picture of Bankura is a witness to the fact that the people of Bengal have decided that on May 2, the lotus will bloom in the state.
